As she said in the interview today it may have been the only way that the provinces would have accepted the handouts etc. Being Auditor General has always been easy pickings. Nothing is new...its life and the only way to change it is turn yourself into an Obama and Change The System...the Canadians are already following his lead in trying to get budget out the door, before months go by and the opposition is still nit-picking (it does not matter who the opposition is - it is the way it works. But as Obama said today there is no time for nit-picking if the economy is going to be saved. Every day delayed is another day ++++ lost in the recovery process. 40,000 lost jobs turned out to be 129,000 lost jobs. Flaherty mimicked Obama's plea for speed today. Is anyone in the opposition listening? (If not why would we want them in power?) BC
